The good news is the powder coater found matching paint to paint the center caps for me. The not so great news is the color came out a bit lighter than what I was expecting. Here is the initial pick of the powder coated wheel. Later pics to follow with painted center caps and mounted on the Voy. Thoughts?

Those will look real nice, nice turn out and glad they could match the color

They look good. Seem to go well with your paint. I would like to see them outside in the sunlight. I need to do something with my wheels as well. 5 years and 125,000 miles have taken their toll on them.

Did you get your wheels powder coated or just the center caps? If wheels, how much if you do not mind me asking?

Here it is in direct sunlight and at an angle where they look the lightest. This is my least favorite view as it is just way too light for my liking :frown:

However, at other angles they look darker/much better and look like sex at night

Also, I can't stop focusing on the mismatched caps :hissyfit: It just makes it too difficult for me to gauge my overall satisfaction.

Hopefully I'll have the new caps next week and will be satisfied :undecided:

Why no Plasti Dip? In black would look deadly with your Envoy and it's super easy.

Not bad but I don't like how black wheels, at least at certain angles and certain lighting conditions, appear to simply blend in and sort of disappear with black tires. I'm really starting to like this unique color.

The reaction is definitely mixed in my circle; some people really love them and some people ask me why I ruined my polished wheels. The beauty of the dip is I can peel it all off if I change my mind. I'm pretty sure that in the states you can get gloss black and gun metal in Plasti dip. That probably doesn't help at all now. That pic does the wheel and overall look of my truck no justice at all but I know what you mean.

$360 for all 4 wheels and center caps. Picking up the caps tomorrow.

Caps came out a bit darker than the wheels. According to my powder coater it's because I wanted the clear coat added to the powder coat on the wheels which tends to lighten the color. In any event, still looks nice, I kinda like the slight contrast.
