Plasti Dipping Front Emblem

Well I was tired of the yellow emblem on my front grill so i decided to plasti dip it finally. It was pretty easy.
1st Picture is Masking off the chrome. I left a tiny bit of it so when i was taking it off the plasti dip wouldnt come off with it. View attachment 21942

2nd picture is the first coat. I waited 20 mins for each coat. Ended up doing around 5 coats of plasti dip.

3rd picture is the ending. Removed the tape. Rolled off excess plasti dip. Use a xacto knife or a tooth pick.

4th is back on the car. I do have to say it cleans up the front end very nicely.

i just replaced mine with a billet one and i just did my fathers bowtie on his Colorado with Plasti Dip.. cleans up the front end so nicely... great mod

I was just texting out how it would look Thanks. I might switch over to paint soon. The black cleans out the front really well.

Just make sure its not raining or humid. LOL had to run around so much so it doesnt get wet. and take it indoor to paint it correctly

So it was an okay day. Even though its raining i managed to do the rear emblem and trailblazer emblem. I like how its blacked out now. Will post pictures when its dry or when there is better lighting.
