Pedal Position Sensor question

Hello,

My 06 Envoy recently started having some issues that I'm slowly working through and I have hit a standstill.

It started with an evap code, I replaced the vent and purge valves and that issue went away. Then the oil pressure sending unit failed, which was an easy replacement. While doing that I knocked a vacuum line loose, which I found later that day and reattached.

After that I started to get codes showing lean on bank 1 and 2. So far I have sprayed carb cleaner around the intake and hoses looking for a leak, replaced the MAF sensor and replaced the throttle body. None of those seemed to have helped the issue, but I'm now getting a code referencing the pedal position sensor. I grabbed one, installed it, and got absolutely no throttle response. It started and ran, but pressing the pedal did nothing.

Is there some type of relearn procedure needed for the pedal sensor, or did I just happen to get a bad one?

Thank you
Terry

No relearn for pedal position sensor.

Also they are not the same for all years so it is imperitive to not just grab any sensor but to get the right one for your year model.

An exactly what code (by the numbers) are you getting?

I'm currently showing P0121, P0171 and P0174.

The part is a Dorman 699-139, which according to their website fits the 06 with adjustable pedals.

Thank you for the reply.

Well none of those are for accelerator pedal sensor.

Were there other codes earlier that are for the accelerator pedal??
I was going off the description of the P0121 in Torque and assumed it was the pedal sensor since I've already replaced the throttle body.
