So the dealer told me I needed to replace my brake shoes on the TB and new parking brake assembly

would these be the correct pieces I would need?

The work order also states you need backing plates. This may or may not be necessary, you would have to go check it your self. It may be something like this; More Information for ACDELCO 88935750

You also may not need the hardware kit. That's your call. It's not that expensive so I suppose if your going through this trouble I would replace as much as possible.

The items you have listed look just like the ones I bought from rock auto. We have the same year.

Those brackets may be needed if you can't get the bolt out that holds the shoe clip. I would just drill and tap it if it broke.

If it makes you feel better, you can replace them but opening the differential and pulling the axles is not everybody's cup of tea. I sold my '00 Jimmy last year. Replaced the e-brake shoes and it didn't have any dust shields at all. Passed safety, no problem. Dorman has a a set for both sides for $15.88.
