I got the code read after the SES and RP light both came on me yesterday. The driving condition was sunny and hot outside and the AC was blasting set on 60 and going down the highway around 65-70 (mostly). While talking to my friend I started speeding up and slowing down from 70 to 55 and back. Then the light came on and scared the heck outta me (I just bought the TB) but no actual reduction in power, no rpm limitations. Still cruised at whatever speed I wanted and when I turned the key off and back on the RP went off but the SES stayed lit. The code reading gave only one code...P1484 clutch fan RPM error. The questions I have are threefold...1) could the driving conditions have forced a false reading, 2) how hard is a fan clutch replacement, and 3) after this my cruise wont engage? Thank you for any advice you guys can give to a Noob TB owner.
