I was changing the oil in the tb yesterday and noticed this.

I know it's not much but I had a 95 grand prix that head a head gasket out and this was the first sign so I'm just checking with everyone.

Do you do mostly short trips?

How does the oil look on the dip-stick?

Oil looked fine. When I drained it yesterday. The Dipstick doesn't show anything but clean oi either.

I drive it 11 miles to work then 11 miles home everyday It takes a few over an hour long road trips a couple times a month. I'm running Castrol 5w30.

If the oil on the dipstick looks fine than it is probably condensation from the engine not getting run long enough and hot enough. :twocents:

:iagree: I think part of the problem is the design of the PCV system and engine.

You should be fine.

If the dipstick is good, it's probably just condensation. Do you happen to drive short trips where the oil wouldn't warm up all the way?

An 11 mile trip you are just barely nice temp for the oil if you even reach it this time of the year.

Looks like short trip cap gunk syndrome to me.

Had that on my old car. Freaked me out until I realized everything else was fine.
