Hmmm I might be able to bring some brownies up for ya Bill...

Yup Im hoping so!

I know the people that attended the first meet are getting some free decals, but for Craig and I (need 2 sets), Id be down to talk with Jeff about getting some decals express shipped to me next week before the meet. Can we get a list of people who want them, just send them all to my house and Ill bring them to the meet. That way each of us doesnt have to pay for shipping. Thoughts?

Yep, get there early for coffee (Bill will be looking for the Starbucks :rotfl:) and then stay for lunch + however long everyone wants/can stay.

I will probably have 2 Vente's down by the time I get there. Probably need a Washroom more than anything else! Lol!

wootown, all good, I was using 9am as simply a starting time. Its gonna be hard for Craig, my brother, and I to get up at 8 to roll out but I think it'll happen (we might be more like 9:15...).

Where's a good place to meet at the Tulalip? I drove past it twice on the way to and from Mt. Vernon today, looked for a good meeting place and kinda came up empty. There's lots of room by the Home Depot, but thats a little north. Not sure what everyone wants to do, any suggestions? Probably need some food nearby, Im betting Ill be there past 12 and be hungry.

If meeting at the casino, the northeast lot. I think there is an Olive Garden in that part of the lot.... Since they don't open that early, should be pretty empty.

yeah there is plenty of parking in the Casino parking lot plus there is the olive garden and McDonalds close by plus other places that aren't far from the freeway. Applebees comes to mind.

I tried to get permission to cordon off an area. Kind of tight parking now, what with the Seattle Outlet Mall west parking lot being torn up to build a parking garage. The only area they would let me rope off is by RV parking which is a long hike from anywhere.

I agree the area between Casino valet parking and the Olive Garden parking lot would be easy to find and should be pretty open that time of day. Still close enough to walk into the Casino for restrooms and coffee. (The Casino espresso bar makes a pretty good cuppa whatever).

New Years Meet Map

I'll drive over the spot and get exact GPS coordinates after work tonight and put up in another post.

Looks good to me. Although once I release the wife into the Casino I can pretty much go anywhere for the next 4-5 hours :undecided:

Yeah, I don't know which is the bigger gamble, put her in the casino or turn her loose in the outlet mall

Anyway - here are the numbers if anyone wants to plug 'em into their GPS -
N 48 degrees 05.367 minutes
W 122 degrees 11.266 minutes

Very nice Alan, but for me it's 5-rights, 2-lefts, or about 2 miles South-South Westerly as a crow flys

My sub enclosure is coming with me, but is far from being done. Just put another layer of fiberglass on just a few minutes ago(layer #4)

Alright where will everyone be around ten am? I have to take care of something that morning but I will head out as soon as I can. Also the blazer will probably come muddy - I plan on taking some friends off roading before they go eastside back to WSU for the semester

Just meet us there, Im willing to bet even if we move it wont be far AND you'll be able to spot the other 6 TrailBlazers (+ Bill's 'lade) all gathered in one spot.

Hope it doesnt rain...accuweather says should be a high of 40F and clear/sunny. Fingers crossed!

If GM is consistent, it should be a combination of a 10mm wrench, 13mm wrench, tight spaces, various profanity, and a 12 pack of tasty beverage.

on edit: didn't see the article over here yet, but it's on the OS: http://forums.trailvoy.com/articles.php?do=viewarticle&artid=101

wow..new years 31 in seattle?? i think longview area would be a better choice..lmao

Well if I make it back up there this summer we will have to get together. You need to recruit some more of those people in the Longview area. My in-laws live up in Clatskanie, last time we stayed in Longview at my wife's grandmother's old house.

LOL, we have talked that if anything happens to my present job that we may just move up there. There are a couple of potential job opportunities up there with some of my experience and background.

Should I go bury my truck to the axles in a mud hole so you won't feel like the only dirty one there?

Don't get stuck... we won't know where to find you.

This...

Or just use a log like I did...

Edit: Anyone got a stock steel reinforcement they want to get rid of? I may put my stock bumper back on in the search for a few extra MPGs.

Donny, I dont have one bud. My spare parts collection consists of my stock parts (kept all of them, lots of boxes ) and spare PCM/ECM/TCMs for most years.

I have the drivers seat of the 02 torn apart in my living room installing seat heaters, hopefully Ill get it done tonight/tomorrow morning.

Remember that 9 am is a highly optimistic target. If I get there by 10 I will have been lucky at the border and will have found a good pace on the highway! I may also have to stop at a car wash with this darn rain tonight! :banghead:

Craig and both of my TBs are in desperate need of a wash, think we'll hit Brown Bear on our way to the freeway (hope its not nasty on the freeway otherwise it'll be pointless!) then head to the meet.

Going to try and leave around 8:30, add in 15min for a wash, should be there around 9:15-9:30. 9 is just a good starting time, not really a big deal if people dont show up until 10 or so.

Great to meet all the super TB - OOPs GM! folks today. I had a great time. Strangest thing though.... after having one of the brownies that were being passed around I had to stop on the way home and load up with Doritos, Cheeze Whiz, and chocolate chip cookies! Wierd, I tell ya. :squint:

so sorry that you couldn't make it Danyelle. We kept waiting for you but nobody had your number to contact you. It was a great meet with lots of great GMTs. and of course what meet wouldn't be complete without Fishsticks going mall crawling!!!! lol

This is one if the TBSS owners motors. It's a Supercharged, Forged LS3 that makes 600 HP at all 4 wheels!!!!!!!

Great turnout everyone, in the 4+ years Ive been coordinating/attending meets this was by FAR the biggest! There are 12 trucks in the pic Patrick posted, I think we were missing 1 at that point. 13 with 4 SSs is pretty good IMO.

Tavis' black AWD SS has a fully forged Leading Edge Performance (LEP) 378 LS3 with a Maggie TVS2300, he's putting down over 600awhp. Sure lights all 4 up pretty easily! I think he's still on the stock trans, needless to say he's got a Level VI built trans on the way so it can handle the power.
(Note-I might have to rethink my plans for a forged 427 and TVS2300 for 500awhp, think I could do it N/A!)

Ive got a bunch of pics Ill upload later today, but it sure was great meeting/seeing everyone again! We even convinced Dustin (red SS) to keep his truck! He PM'ed me on TBSSOwners saying after the meet he called the dealer he was going to trade it in at and told them he's keeping it! Success!

wootown, we missed you, next time! I know Patrick wants to try and start monthly meets, Im all for it. We should pick like the 1st or last Sat of the month and make it a standard time. Change the location up to make it interesting and have fun with it!

And there was a fog light install on Victoria's TB that started towards the end of the meet in the casino parking lot, how did that turn out?
