NEW and HOT ghost lights

These are the new door ghost lights I now carry. I have 2 in stock now with SS and Chevrolet/bowtie but can and will get just about anything. These mount in the bottom of the door using the included holesaw and connects to the courtesy lights. When you open the door they light up the area where you step out onto the ground. Over 160 logos available but I am the only one that has available the logo with SS. :-)

Mine are all wired up I just have't gotten around to drilling the holes yet. I might get a chance tomorrow sometime between work, school, and changing my oil.

Wiring them is pretty easy. It takes about 15 minutes to get the panel off, run the wire up to the dome light, and splice it in.

Most of the logos are auto makes, they have batman, decepticon, transformer, etc. What are you wanting?
 
:undecided: Looks cool but I would love to see a pic of what they look like installed. Any chance you have a pic or video of what they actually look like in a TB/Envoy. Very cool idea though... props to you for this!!

Just wanted to see what options existed, I know a few VW guys who might shit a brick over something like this. Im thinking something like just a bowite with no other writing. I like looking at pictures too.

Thanks, I hope I have time tomorrow to install them in mine. Been swamped lately with ordering lights, filling orders for lights, answering questions, making/powdercoating sills and other products, running to post office and UPS, and of course Halloween was tonite so I had to set up for that. Also need to get together with machinist on the next gen of bumper plates. Life is good but I may need to finally get a shop to set up in and maybe hire some help. :crazy:

Yea, if you have a design you want made it takes a little more time 2-6 days for the "artist" to make the mold and a little more $ up front for that.

VERY awesome. Do I send my design straight to you, or is there a different site/address I have to send it to for a quote?

Thanks man, I tried to access it, but I'll have to wait until I can physically get it off of another backup drive. It will probably be tomorrow sometime.

Hey T,
I submitted your design and they sent back the artist's rendition of it, that will be used for the mold, and it looks spot on! I'm also going to be offering the SS logo in red as well as the current white.

I installed one last night and it was too dark to take any pics. so this is a pic after installed...I'm wired to a switch on my dash in the light switch box so I can leave them on with doors open

Installion pics that is. The second one will be installed in the other door Monday (Nascar's in town) so I can show pics of where I routed wires and pics pry spots and 2 screws to dismantling door panel and removing.

Those are pretty cool! Any pics of a GMC logo lighted up?
 
These would look good on each side of tailgate when it's in the open position. Is there a distance limit to keep them in focus or would they still work from about 6 feet off the ground?

It would be huge at 6'. If you look at 1" dia point blank and then its the size of a basketball hoop at about 1 foot distance....You would have to have a different focusing lens.

You could mount it in the bumper some how to get the same effect.

As long as they are in the 1 foot range, give or take a few inches it would work.
 
Here is a pic of mine now that I finally finished it. The picture doesn't really do it justice. I find they look a lot better in person. The 72 LEDs in my dome light kind of drown out the logo but its still cool. Also note that with lift and tires my truck is about 8 inches higher than stock.

I think I'd be pretty pleased with that sharpness at that height. Looks good to me.

Looks great! :wootwoot: I think that they will still look sharp from 1-2' distance. Anymore than that and it will lose its clarity.

:eek: these are AWESOME!

though I have to admit...as soon as I saw it, I immidiately thought ::proximity sensor to trigger light on bumper:: with a very polite and courteous image of course hahaha

seriously though, will keep an eye on this, may just add this to my to-do list...kudos on it, looks great
 
Just ordered 35 more sets of ghost lights for the doors. I will have the SS logo in blue, green, orange, red, silver, pink, red jeweltint, Scion, Ford and the current Chevrolet/bowtie and White SS.
Should arrive in about 1 week
