My baby's been good to me for a few years, so i decided to treat her today...

Wanted to keep as much rubber around the wheels as possible in order to protect from curb damage and keep some of the ride quality. Managed to fit 285/40s with just enough clearance as to not rub. Sure was close though...

Looks good  Can you get a pic of the ball joint clearance?

This is with the MarkMC spacers...they fit without them, but until some of the tread wears down I didn't wanna risk having that ball joint drop down on my tire under full suspension compression and possibly rip through a tread block. I may or may not take the spacers off once the tires wear a little...:undecided:

ypu could grind the ball joint for better clearance, some off-roaders do that.

Yeah, i'd heard of some guys doing that...didn't wanna comprimise the structural rigidity of the ball joint, but I haven't heard anyone said they had any problems after doing it

Tnanks jr! :tiphat:

What width space and rim. Got any pics down the side to see how it fits in the wheel well.

LOOKS SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEET

:tiphat: Thank ya. 22x9.5, as mentioned in above post I'm currently running 1.5" spacers so they stick out as far as the outermost top of the fender. Spacers weren't absolutely necessary, just precautionary. Its dark now, but here is a pic i took yesterday

Looks awesome man! My 20" were actually wider than my 22" and I miss that look. Nice pick!

nice wheels, when I had 22's i didn't do the spacers. I just went with a 265/40 tire and I had no issues with BJ rub.
