Hi. I am looking to buy new er rims and found a pair.. Went to see them and found a dent can't tell if it's not bad and worth buying or a waste of money. They were on a sabb 9x7 and tires look brand new, got him down to 500 $ good deal or not? Opinions? Help..

Rim is bent. I'd pass on it at that price. Maybe he put new tires on it hoping that no one would notice that the bent rim would keep the tires from holding in any air? Just a thought. You might be able to bend it back? But for the price, I wouldn't do it. But that's just me.

Maybe offer $400? $300 for the unbent rims and $100 for the bent rim?

Also, how much are they brand new in case you need a replacement?

I say go for it if you like the wheels.
You were willing to pay 700 initially and talked him down to 500.
It will cost around 200 to knock that dent out and you're back to the 700.

I wouldnt trust that rim at any high speeds. Theres more rims out there. I would pass unless you can find a replacement for the bad one. See if the tires are worth 500.00.

at $500 for 22's with tires... thats a steal anyday in my book... even if you need to repair the rim, you still have the new tire for it...

I'm not sure I understand your logic man. You could buy a brand new replacement wheel and still come out paying less than half the original price.

I went to take a look at them again and found small bend on other rim too not as bad but still. Guy said he never noticed it.. I call Bullshit, just seemed shady too me. Didn't seem worth it to have 2 rims replaced, plus I'm very impatient and want instant gratification

This guy selling the rims seems like he is a rough driver lol Glad you passed on them, not worth how cheap they are. You get what you pay for so the safety is worth the extra money

there is a reason why he is willing to take 500 dollars for a set of 22's

I'm pretty good at haggling prices, but it hit or miss dealing with Craig list. I've got another pair I'm working on now 20s with tires real nice no flaws. He wants 1000,trying to get him too 700...
