So I take my TB in for a noise I could not find. They say it's the u joint witch I thought were ok they felt solid. Don't u joints loosen up when there bad. Mine didn't move when you shake them. Another issue is he says the 4x4 does not seam to be engaging all the way. Would that be the disconnect maybe the shift fork is cracked ? :hissyfit:

Shift fork or collar I'd guess.

Print this and take it in if you're paying somebody to do the repair. Buy the Ebay replacement if you don't score one at the junkyards.

Rodie I may rebuild the the disconnect myself. I said it before and will say it again a crummy design on the disconnect.
