Anyone ever throw an LED light bar in the lower front grille (btw the fog lights)??? Its something i thought about doing. Im between that and a bull bar with a bar across it.

Are you talking like a LED bar for a lil glow like I have in my grill or a real offroad one like I have on my bumper?

I would agree. Mount it to the stock metal bumper support.

I like the idea of no bull bar and the light back in there better. Cleaner look to me.

yea i agree... if i went bull bar its be the smaller one like this (dont like how the big ones come up over the front bumper for my bodystyle. I do think a nicely fitted light bar in the wide opening and tow hooks in the smaller ones would look really nice.

Thanks for the mod bug fuel! :thumbsup:

What's your source for a decent light bar?

When I had my safari bar, I thought it'd look nice with an led light bar instead of piaa's or the like. Might need some fabbing as far as mounting but I think it'd work well.

Just your radiator. It doesn't need any airflow... :biggrin:
</sarcasm>

I'm waiting for someone to add a Knight Rider style light bar...

Been there done that. I have the 30 function, 7 color remote control light bar behind the center grill bar, which shines down on the chrome mesh grill. People trip out at the weekly Friday night show. And then when they are looking at it, I pop the remote license plate out from the bottom of the "chin".

Wrong kinda light bar being discussed. I have an led in my grill as well, but he is talking more like the one shown above which is heavier and bulkier and requires more secure mounting.

I'm thinking about ordering one?
Does anyone know if there's a way to securly mount one of the LED bars onto that space bellow the bottom bumper?

Answering my own questions here, unfortunately that location is only 3-4 inches tall and about 20 inches long. So it would need to be mounted bellow the bow-tie for that to work.

Does anyone know how and where people are mounting these? I don't want mine to wobble around or fall off or something when I'm driving on the highway.
