I've got a 2002 2500hd with the 6.0 and 4L80E. I recently put in a remanned tranny in and am having hard shifts between 1st & 2nd. I took it back to the shop I bought the tranny through, and they replaced the 1-2 solenoid and internal wiring harness to no avail. What he is telling me is that the solenoid is not getting the correct amperage, which would lead back to the PCM, which is also a new remanned unit.
Vehicle is sending .96 amp at idle, .21 amp at half throttle & .2 amp at full throttle.
I believe the amp readings should be 1 amp at idle, .5 amp at half throttle, & .2 at full throttle.
Does this lead straight back to the computer, or is there something else causing this?
