Louvered Hood? Yes or No?

Got the idea tonight to louver my hood. Maybe like 6 rows in the middle. what do you guys think? Want to do something different and I like the rat rod look. Anyone good at photoshop? Haha.

ok, most louvers are 2-1/2" - 4-1/2" and 1/2" - 1-1/4" spacing.

I couldn't come up with some variations on a TB. Really curious as to what it will look like. Can't imagine how functional it would be for me though.

I kinda just want to do it for looks. I have an extra hood I got in a trade and the louvers are cheap. I'm going to do it just to see how it comes out. Got a buddy who's going to cut and weld them to the hood. I want a hot rod look, and I think it will look pretty bad ass. Won't be able to paint it for a few weeks after, though.

Not sure how I feel about it. Hmm. Maybe I'll use the same size strips of louvers. Also, it's been storming here all week, so don't pay attention to the dirt! Haha!

I can't stand that style hood scoop. I don't know why, but just never did.

I love Scott's hood too, but I wanted to be different without being ricey.
