Okay, I was driving my Trailblazer to church yesterday morning and it is not fixed! However it does not seem to be in the engine now. Out of a little frustration, while it was struggling to go up a hill out to my church, I floored the gas pedal and the engine got up to 5000 RPM, but we never did start to gain speed! The transmission did not down shift and go on, it was almost like it was slipping!
This is all I need after already putting around $1400 in this thing, very frustrating! Anyway to give some background to this, the transmission fluid and filter has not ever been changed in my Trailblazer, because I was going to change it and was advised not to by the Chevy dealership, they told me to have it flushed instead. So I am wondering what everyone's thoughts are on this, has anyone had any similar symptoms? My symptoms are it will take off from 0 MPH pretty good, after it shifts a couple of times and you are going good, when you have to slow down for a curve and come out of that curve say around 30 to 40 MPH it really struggles to get going again.
