Hi Folks,
Just joined up, was pointed here by another CDN member.![Thumbs-Up  ](/forums/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
I am looking at an '08 or '09 Envoy, 4.2L. This will hopefully save me some spending money on gas and still tow my popup.
I'm concerned that some of the querks that my '99 GMC 1500 has, have not been addressed.
Did a quick search and see that earlier models have fuel guage issues. My trucks guage fluctuates all the time from empty to full to somewhere in between.
I keep my trip odometer showing so I know far far I've driven between fill ups, reset it at each fill up.
In cold weather my rear diff acts up. On initial get up and go, if it slips, it continues to drive like I can't get any traction at all. I park and wait a minute then it's all good.
Are there any quirks I should be looking for in the model years I am looking at?
