Does anyone know a place to buy The lift gate latch ,Not the module Just the latch. I cant seem to find the right name to find it . Tried rock auto ,advance and auto zone, but cant poll anything up. here is a pic with the module But not sure if you can buy separate .

Yeah, got the whole latch out of the door, I think it only cost like 30 bucks and it really wasn't rusty. I made sure to spray out the latch and relube it just to be on the safe side however.
I did a few latches on a friend's old Explorer. Only the passenger front door worked lol.

The latch must be available because the dealer quoted me $178.00. Mine ended up i didn't really need it and the dealer was just lying, so I never bought it and don't have a part number but it must be available. For $178 new I would look at the wreckers too, $30 is much better.
