I made this harness so I can use 2 panels in the cargo light

If that's not bright enough for you, you can step up to 48 SMD panels

These work great for the license plate because all the LEDs aim down

The spiders look good to me, just be careful with them, I've heard they can be delicate. You don't want to open and close them to much. If your going to change the sockets for quad tails, I would do it before installing the spiders.

Here's the spiders I have (they go on sale from time to time, I got them a little cheaper), just 1 more LED and it's a "bulb" style in the center, I don't think it makes a difference

That int kit up there for $41 only costed me $28:wootwoot:

Not to bust your bubble, but what did the kit come with? I guessing you could have ordered the LEDs a la carte and saved even more, and definitely you could have got brighter for the money.

Short Bus, do you have a recommendation for LED panels to use in the mirror turn signal of a TrailBlazer? Your interior lights are insanely bright compared to my regular 194 LED bulbs.

I don't have mirror turn signals so I'm not sure how much room you have. I'm also guessing you'll need light in more than 1 direction.

For those wanting brighter tail lights, I will have some new- never made before- Cree with 12 5050 chip SMDs. These will light up the 12 SMDs around the base as parking lights and the Cree will fire up as the brake/signal lights. Going to be $24/pair.
I have the 3157 Cree with 12 SMDs switchbacks also $24/pair.
For anyone interested in strip lights for under the hood, footwell or anyplace you can think of, I now have the 5 meter reels in 5050 large, 3528 med and 335 side emitting chips which can be cut to length every 3 SMDs and have clips with wire leads attached to the end for quick splicing/no soldering. Price is $2 for a 3 SMD strip and $1 for each quick clip. I have white, amber, red, blue, green, purple for colors. They are water proof and have an adhesive strip on back side.
example:
pair of 3 SMDs with 2 clips =$6
pair of 6 SMDs with 2 clips =$10
pair of 12 SMDs with 2 clips = $18

Definitely got my attention with the tail light leds! Going to need to check what bulbs need for my two gmc taillights.
