Does anyone treat their leather seats? I have a 2006 LT Ext, and the seats are starting to show its age. I always try to wash any liquid out and not put too much weight on one seat. But after 6 years and having 80,000 miles on it, the leather is showing its age. Any tips? or conditioners? or cleaners? any help is thankful.

Do NOT use Armer-all (sp?) leather conditioner! I used it once and kept sliding until it wore off.

I use Meguires Gold Class Leather cleaner/conditioner. I do the seats every time I detail the interior so a few times a year. I find it works really well and don't notice it being slippery. I don't like the wipes they suck ass, they dry fast and don't look that good. As far as the weight thing, i think someone was in my drivers seat and turned around to the back seat putting a knee on the seat, it looks streched in that spot. I also notice the front edge of the back seats gets that cracked used look from the seats being folded down and that front edge flexing against the floor. My seats are in great condition and I love the leather. On the other hand my 2 kids hate the leather seats because they are not allowed to eat or drink in the truck.

That's the precise reason I got leather in the wife's Impala and that I looked for leather in my TB - so the kids can eat and drink in the vehicle. Much easier to wipe off the leather and treat it than to shampoo a cloth seat.

I agree leather is easier to wipe clean but some other surfaces are not. Just the thought of greasy McD's fry fingerprints all over the windows, mustard and ketchup on the seatbelt, melted chocolate bits or potato chips in the seatbelt reciever and seams in the seat is the reason I don't let them. Kids will be kids and may make a mess. No food in the truck=no mess in the truck. I do let them take a bottle of water if they want. Lol, in the house I make em sit at the table to eat...
