hey fellow GMT owners, I recently sold my trailblazer and removed a few things prior to the sale. One of which is the kenwood dnx7100.

It is in good condition, no scratches on the screen. It has Garmin navigation maps on it. (recently updated to 2013 version)
I wont get into all the specs as that can be looked up easily.

It will include the adapter to keep the warning chimes (I am not sure if it varies vehicle to vehicle, I had 2004 LS, no onstar), and also the mounting pieces to physically install in the dash. and all the wiring of course.

I am asking $350 SHIPPED, or if your in the chicago area and would like to pickup we can work something out. paypal is the preferred method.

thanks everyone!

Does it need any special antenna for the gps?

There is a gps antenna, its a little 1" square that has a magnetic base to stick on the roof. (I had it on the roof right above the windshield on the passenger side and it acquired signal in a few seconds, but i remember reading that some people had good luck with just having it on the dash.)

I would just like to be more clear on the "$350 SHIPPED" .... thats anywhere in the continental united states. Thanks!

I am interested, I should be getting my tax return any day now, i'll let you know asap. by any chance do you have the bluetooth adapter (KCA-BT100)

Damn ! that's fine I found some on ebay and amazon. i'll let you know asap. Also, can you change the illumination color of the buttons ? (i couldn't find nothing about it when I searched, its not a deal breaker if not though) Also, you stated that you updated the maps to 2013 maps, I came across a forum that said the sd card needs to stay in the unit for the map update to work, so the sd card come with the unit ? How do you do the video bypass ? Also, do you know of any good forums for the 7100 ? Also, (should be last question) do you know the security code ? In my research, it says when you remove it and put it into another vehicle it will ask for a security code.

honestly, i never even tried to change the colors of the buttons so I'm not really sure, i would check but i have no way of powering on the unit anymore. You are correct on the SD card needed for the gps, the updated Garmin 2013 maps are on the SD card that WILL be included. I do know the security code, so when the time comes i can pass that information on to the new owner.

As for the video bypass, I never even put a dvd in it so I not too sure on if it would play while driving, and if it doesn't I'm not sure what would need to be done to make it be able to. (although a quick google search "kenwood dnx7100 video bypass" said you might just need to ground the light green wire.) I left everything soldered how it was in my trailblazer, so i know it will work how it is now. I would rather not change anything as i have no way to test it then.

I work at a shop here in sheffield ohio, all kenwoods need is to ground the parking brake wire

This is correct. I have a kenwood dnx6160 and all you do is cut the light green wire and ground it.

Thats good you know the code, and I came across that also that only have to ground one wire to bypass. and I have 06' without onstar, so harness be perfect for mine. well i'll let you know asap (hopeing sometime this week), also, i don't have paypal, could you do money order ? (i'll get it from local post office)

BUMP! ... 2 members have told me they are interested, but I cannot hold it. Is anyone else interested?

Hopefully you get it sold (i'd like to get it, wish i had the funds right now) i'd have to say $350 is good deal, and garmin navi integrated. but i've been looking at the Clarion nx702  think i may have to go with that.

The Clarion is a nice unit for sure! My friend just put a NX602 in his Sierra, he really likes the GPS it has in it.
