Is operating temp of 190 to 200 F reasonable?

Based on a friends recommendation for Windows OBDII software I downloaded the two week trial of TouchScan and ran it for 15 miles while doing a bit of highway and town driving.

Outside temp was about 70 F. A/C was on. Engine temps were 195 while on the highway at 75 mph, cooled down to 190 while doing 68 mph and increased to 200 while doing two miles of 30 mph.

Reasonable and expected. Yes. Now you know how much the PCM smooths the data before sending a solid 210 to the dash gauge.
