I haven't been a regular on many forums lately. Got rid of my s10 after compounding problems took the fun away from working on it. I've been driving a zj Jeep since. Its a decent ride... not my style. I think I'm going to be getting back into a GMT, old style Silverado stepside. Expect to see me around more often. I've also been concentrating on growing my business. Its going better than it has and I am actually starting to think like a businessman, so that's good I suppose. Good to see this place still thriving, lots of old and new faces.

Welcome back Bot! :tiphat:

Personally, I think you should consider a GMT800 Tahoe or Yukon.

(sorry to hear that the S10 didn't work out)

Thanks, Sam! It was too small anyway. Fun project in concept, but the reality was a far cry different. I'm on the lookout and might go the Tahoe route if I can find a event 2dr.

May have found something too good to pass on. Its a 97 s10 Blazer. 100K miles, 2dr, 4.3, 5-speed. Interior and body are 9/10, but has starting issue. I checked it out and only needs a new cap/rotor but I am not letting the owner know that. Its nice enough that i could have it in presentable shape for Carlisle.

Welcome back Smitty :wootwoot: The 2-door blazer may turn out to be a steal but I hope you don't have any probs in your quest to mod it up

Going to thoroughly examine it. I know everything to look for and everything I need to do to get where I wanna be. Anything less than expected and I walk. If so, I might bite the bullet and finance an ss.

Or were you referring to it's interior space?

Going to pick up my "new" ride in a few minutes. It'll feel good to be rockin a Chevy again. Once I get it cleaned up I will gladly upload some pics for viewing pleasure.

What are you getting? You know the rules. Pic or it didn't happen.

BTW here's a pic to show I treating your old lift right.

Gonna do a subtle drop and a super clean appearance. Really accentuate the clean lines. I am done with the yo-yo bs. I started shopping with a concise idea of the finished product I want and I'm going to see it through.
