Idle RPM surged then hung at 1K ?

Thanks for the reply, I am waiting for the part to arrive from rockauto. I am still working on getting it scanned and will post that info as soon as I can get it.

Replaced the cam position sensor, got a PO340 code. Disconnected the battery while installing. I also cleaned the MAF sensor, IAT sensor, CPAS connector and removed the throttle body and cleaned both sides. I will be replacing the CPAS in the near future because of an oil leak at the connector. I hope this does it but time will tell.
