Searching for a company who could build a cam for the 2002 4.2 engine

Well for one, the engine has 2 cams, not one. Keep that in mind.

Nobody makes cams except for the possibility of cam blanks for custom grind cams, that I'm aware of. It has been talked about on here a few times, poke around the engine section or maybe in the performance section for more info on it.
