Header Options

Hello, I was wondering what are our options for header for the 4.2 ?

nothing...

other than an OEM replacement from Dorman (on the JEGS site):
Dorman Products 674-777 Dorman Exhaust Manifolds

and this OEM fitted part:
CHEVROLET EXHAUST MANIFOLDS look for Part # 2051


...they look like identical castings to me

There is a company that makes SS tube headers, but they are expensive.

STAINLESS WORKS is the company.

Not sure if they are still available.

Dorman is not available for your year and there was an extremely limited run of headers from Stainless Works that have been extinct for years now. Extrude honing the stock manifold is your ONLY option, other than a completely custom fabrication.
