anyone had to do a head gasket on a 04 envoy xl 4.2l? any info appreciated cant see to much info on it yet. thanks

Just be 100% sure that the head gasket is blown before attempting this....as you'll see from the link that Roadie posted above, it's a BIG job.

thanks for sending me in the right direction guys. yeah its the head gasket. not real bad yet but still there is a leak so its going to have to be dealt with. just my luck. oh well want ya going to do?
