Hatch-Floor Compartment Door....

Me too, but that will be a lot sticking up out of the floor...

True, but I don't really put anything back there except that toolbox and ARB bag that are in the one picture.

And if need be, I think I can probly revert back to the stock lid for occasions.

2. See Post #20 here in this thread

(If you go over to the build threads and look for mikeinDE, I have a thread in there and you can find some more pics of the audio, just FYI)

no overheating issues?

I've had that amp in there for 3+ years now, and you know I have never really checked it. But I am guessing if it was overheating, it woulda malfunctioned or died by now??? I kinda pamper it, not sure if that matters. But I don't use it aggressively too often, except at shows or when I am showing off for friends. I am not one of those that has it ear-poppingly loud all the time.....

nice. im still debating on putting mine there without any type of venting. may have an idea for a plexi floor with cpu fans on each end one blowing air in and the other bringing the air out but I feel trying to get the plexi cut to fit exactly would be a biotch. idk still playing with ideas..... my main focus right now is my wife's build.

Shouldnt be that hard to get it right. Take the existing hatch and trace it on a piece of plexi, cut it out a little big and use a sander to finalize the shape and smooth the edges.
