Hatch door and glass won't open

Has anyone had it where the hatch door clicks with the remote, but remains locked? Neither the main hatch nor the glass works. When I press the glass button, it has no resistance at all. I have checked every fuse and everything else works perfectly, it's just the hatch that doesn't want to work.

I have explored this and the old site for clues and most every post said frayed wires. Is there a way I can "break out" of my hatch so I can check the wires for fraying? It is frustrating having to load the hatch through the side doors!

If you hear a clunk, then the solenoid is firing and your wiring is OK. Open it using the emergency procedure in the manual and check your mechanical linkages inside for being disconnected, bent, or jammed.
