Google optimization

Has anyone been working on getting the guts of the site optimized for Google searches? A search for "trailblazer forum" doesn't show GMTNation in the first several pages. :(

I'm not a computer guy, but I hear some of the IT guys at work talk about it.
 
What honestly helps is CONTENT. Asking and answering technical questions with distinct phrases that noobs with questions might search for. Not post whore threads, although post count is useful. Things like error codes. Submitting Articles and How-To documents.

SEO (search engine optimization) is on the admin's radar screen, but what he needs from all of us is CONTENT.
