I know it is in my girl's owner's manual but I am eating a fish dinner and feeling lazy. I googled for the answer but got 2 sizes. One was 22 gallons and one was 25.5 gallons.

So, fuel tank capacity on her 73k miles, 2002 TrailBlazer LS?

FWIW my 2002 SWB with a build date of 10/01 has a fuel tank capacity of roughly 18.5 gallons. The PCM has a value in it for fuel tank capacity reported as hundredths of a liter!!

Edit: my pcm reports a fuel tank capacity of 7002 hundredths of liter = 70.02 liters = 18.497 gallons.

The 18.7 gallons sounds correct then. She was below an 1/8th tank, just barely and took 15.05 gallons to fill it. I tell her all the time to think of 1/4 tank as empty. Her excuse is, "I assumed" and then I picked on her and then after the "GLARE", I shut up and made one last parting comment that 1/4 tank is empty. I don't think it will happen again. We use nothing but mid grade Chevron and that TB runs great.

Ever since I got that ignition switch, "1 tooth off on the gear", problem figured out, it has never ever failed her and she likes the truck. Between her TB and her 1990 K2500 ext cab GMT400, she is loving driving again, especially when I take care of both of them. Not one dent on either truck.

I wanna say, only the 2002 SWBs got the 18, and then they went up to 22. The 25 gallon tanks went on the LWB trucks, and trust me, that's always fun filling up at the pumps when I'm lazy and run it low lol :hahano:
