Front stiffer springs

I know there are alot of springs that are on backorder indefinitly, And I was wondering could a Xl or extended lenght truck's front springs be used to substitue a stiffer fron end? Isnt that what the 15125886"s and up pretty much are?

Exactly. If you get struts from a junkyard and want stiffer, look for a donor vehicle with 4WD to get the best chance for stiffer springs.

With a V-8 thats where I found the 86's for the EXT.

Yea, I wish I could figure out what the Moog replacement numbers where for the 86's, I think I may recall a thread on this? Forgot it tho

Are the stiffer springs 4WD specific or from the LWB models, or both?

both, iirc. 4WD Ext is the easiest way to look, as most had 86's or up. Moog's are in between 85-86, but another member reported that the actual spring length on the moogs is shorter, causing a slight drop. this is not confirmed. I assume you could get the moogs and a spacer, for no drop and a heavier spring rate.
