So you have a Specific Misfire (Possible Lean F/A Mixture) Code as P0302 on Cylinder #2 and after doing the usual Checks for Spark Plug and Ignition Harness Integrity and Compression Testing that produces Nominal Results… You Strongly Suspect the remaining problem is with the Electronic Fuel Injector. There are Three of the Four Methods to use for investigating this problem covered in this first video:
These are the Three Recommended Tools:
(1) The OTC Noid Light Kit Part# 3054E
(2) The Lighted “Scope on a Rope” Pin Probe
(3) The PowerProbe 4
This Video provides a “White Board” looks the System Design and the VOP breaks out each Tool (1-3 above) and shows their unique applications in sorting out “The Question of a Questionable EFI Circuit”:
This is a Good Set Up Video specific to Investigating Problematic EFIs with the PERFECT Waveform Exemplar:
(4) The Hantek 1008C (8) Channel Oscilloscope Kit (VERY Affordable and available on Amazon...)
I like Ocasio's Video on this very same Hantek 1008C Gear and the very same problem of having a Misfire due to a Sketchy EFI...:
