Hi folks, just signed up from the other site...I am looking for a set of instructions or drawings for replacing the fan clutch and coolant temp sensor. Already have the parts for this weekend. I've had the fan and clutch off before to replace the water pump, but haven't ever done a fan clutch. Also, coolant temp sensor location? Will be replacing the thermostat too, but that's a simple one...

Any help?

There are many threads discussing the special tool you can get or make to keep the pulley stationary while you whack a huge crescent wrench to loosen the fan clutch nut. Just search or read this one: http://gmtnation.com/f25/fan-clutch-special-tool-3326/

The coolant temp sensor is adjacent to the thermostat. Another issue that we discuss all the time but don't seem to have an article all in one place because most of us changed outs while we were trailvoy members. So the how-to articles are in their archives. Like this one: Replaced my thermostat last weekend (with pics) - Chevy TrailBlazer, TrailBlazer SS and GMC Envoy Forum

Thanks all! Yeah, t-stat in the Envoy is more difficult than some others, but I've done it before.

Ya i changed it on my Cherokee and other vehicles but it seems a bit more intense on the Envoy. i got the p0128 code yesterday but everything seems fine today after i reset the code. great write ups will help me get through it i suppose.
