My old Sirius radio had a signal level meter, just a gradient, but it helped with placement of the antenna and troubleshooting. Is there anyway to check the signal level on a stock HU , no bose, and stock XM antenna???? My radio has always been good with the XM signal, and I know all the shadows zones in the city, very predictable. However, in the last 2-3 days the signal went to total s&*t. It's gone more than its there as I drive around. With the signal being intermittent its going to be hard to troubleshoot unless I can get some form of feedback whether anything I'm doing is increasing the signal strength.
