Getting ready to switch over to synthetic oil, do I need to do a engine flush or not? '03 TB has 95000 miles

Your decision. I would just do an oil and filter change.

if you think your old oil is really nasty, you could do a flush. I don't think it is really needed.

Mobil agrees:

Synthetic Oil | Myths

Myth: I need to flush my engine before switching to Mobil 1 synthetic motor oil.
Reality:
No special preparation is necessary when switching from conventional motor oil to Mobil 1 or Mobil 1 Extended Performance synthetic motor oils

It is not needed but recommended for higher mileage engines over 75, 000 miles and/or have a questionable service history. If you dont do a flush on an engine with questionable maintenance the first fill of synthetic is going to get dirty really quick and require changing earlier thus wasting time and money.
