dvd transplant

Hello everyone, just a question please....will a dvd player from a 2004 xl with no sunroof fit to transplant into my 2004 regular wheelbase?
A person is parting his out and I was hoping to satisfy my daughter.

It should. The one in my EXT was a transplant, had a piece of plywood holding it to the roof but apparently is the method of mounting it. Be sure to get the wiring all the way to the radio as mine used an FM modulator split into the antenna wire.

The XL it is coming out of has no sunroof and is a pretty long unit. My envoy is a short wheel base with a sunroof......do you see any problems?
Looking on ebay some of the vendors with the long units say "not for vehicles with sunroof."
Is that just B.S?

Forgot to mention that mine has a sunroof. If I was a betting man, I'd say it would work.
