This does not happens every time but occasionally when placed in park the locks will cycle on and off. I do use the setting where the doors lock at 5mph and unlock when placed in park. Have not paid attention but it could just be the driver's door. So I just apply the parking brake and place it in neutral. Next time it might not do it.. It might be my imagination but it could happen more often when it has not been driven for a few days but will also happens after driving it for over 15-20 minutes. Could the battery charge level be involved? It can be weeks sometimes between occurrences.

Hi and welcome. I have a faint recollection that someone else had a similar issue however my Goofle-fu is weak and cannot find it.
It is possible that a weak battery could do this but if the engine is running, theoretically, you should have full power. Worth a shot to have the battery and charging system tested.
Does it do this also after shutting off the engine? I wonder if it's possibly something with the lift gate module and the remote keyless entry. Could also be one of the two door modules.

Assuming you were previously driving (at above 5 mph) before placing the shifter in Park, then the locks would already be locked (ON). Right?
So are you meaning that the locks cycle open then closed or closed then open?

Thanks for the speedy attention. It only occurs when the engine is turned off and the shifter is placed in park. It is not every time. Maybe one out of 20.
Yes, when I come to a stop the doors are still locked but when I put it in park and turn off the engine they unlock then relock and repeat about every second.

So you put it in Park, it unlocks, shut off ignition, it goes crazy lock unlock and doesn't stop ever? What about once you open the door? Does it stop? I'm thinking maybe a bad door module or something sending a bad signal on the CANBUS after shutdown?
