Door hard to open, caught by the wind

Hey, all! I just moved over from the "OS". So this is where everyone went!

Anywho, the wind caught the driver's door of my 2002 TB the other day, and now it's incredibly hard to open. If I loosen the latch catch (???, the U-shaped job on the body that the door latch locks to), it gets easier to open. There is also more wind noise now. It decreases noticably if I pull the top of the door toward the body while driving.

What did I mess up?

Glad to be back with the guys in the know.

Welcome!

Hinges probably bent. Body shop kind of job unless you just want to fiddle with it.

What does a fix like that run at a body shop?

had this happen on my 03 ext. local body shop fixed it @ no charge.
they just place a board or piece of pipe in the right spot, work the door back and forth to bend it back.
check @ a few body shops, if nothing is cracked or broken, should be a 5 min fix. :twocents:

Awesome! I'll aim for that price. Thanks, Fletch!
