Did your 0-60 time improve after your pcm tune? Mine did not...:no: With a cai and pcm tune my 0-60 is still about 10 secs....anybody have any special takeoff technique? (half throttle then full or anything like that I might be missing?)

I wish i timed before and after times, with 11% torque management and level 3 firmness shiftss with 91 octane its a lot more "get up and go" but i doubt its a substantial difference in 0-60 times
Our trucks come to life around 2000rpm so if anything you'll see a bigger difference with your truck already rolling

2000? try 3000 RPM. I have a P4L tune and its a dog until 3k. And third gear is huge. The 3.42 rear end doesn't help either. And she weighs over 4500 lbs. But our tunes could be different, especially regarding tq management. My own calculations are around 8 seconds to 60mph.

If anyone with a tune find themselves close to the Twin Cities this summer and wants to do a run to 60mph against a stock TB, let me know. 3.42 gears here. Maybe we'll tape it too :cool:

I'd say if you wanted to improve your 0-60times the best thing would be to get a stall and or get a good used rear end with 4.10's from the pick a part.

I figured the rear end and stall were my best option to get my time down, but I have an 06...So I would have to find an 06+ rear end to retain my stabilitrac (which is awesome!).

I do have a 3.42 rear end right now, so I imagine the 4.10 would be alot better 0-60 wise...

How much gas milage is lost with the 4.10's?

Hard to tell, someone will have to chime in with 4.10's. I do know that with 3.42 @ 70 mph you are around 2100 rpm. With 3.73 you are at 2300 rpm. With 4.10 you are at 2600 rpm @ 70 mph. iirc.

Your a little off there. With OD engaged on stock tires (245/65-17 or in simpler terms 29.5in diameter) your doing:

3.42 = ~1900
3.73 = ~2100
4.10 = ~2300

Even the off-roaders that re-gear to 4.56 gears only do ~ 2600 with the stock tire size, but most throw on a 33 or 35 inch tire so their doing 2300 or 2100 revs.
