Did some work on my dad's '06 Z71 Crew Cab Colorado

well to make a long story short, my dad saw my led's in my interior and license plate, etc...(all 4 window switch's, rear wiper controls, headlight switch, etc...) so he kept asking me, "son, when can i get my yellow interior" (his colorado is yellow and his favorite color is yellow as he has a '68 Firebird which is also yellow).. so with a little research, as i am unfamiliar with the 355's, i stumbled upon a thread on 355nation about just having to switch out the silicone covers on the bulbs to the desired color.. and wouldnt you know.. IT WORKED!!!!, its nothing like our TB's and Voy's.. our window switch bulbs are clear, but shine out the crappy greenish factory color.. well all of his bulbs are covered in blue silicone covers (much like our HVAC, headlight switch, etc...are) so i went on ebay and ordered some yellow silicone covers... and if our trucks were this easy.. let me tell you.. i dont think i wouldve enduldge into the LED world just yet .. ok, pix or it never happened right.. so here ya go..

OK Interior Switches and the "Passanger AirBag" and 4x4 lights changed on the cluster above the radio and yes, i ran out of silicone covers.. so thats why i left the one 4 still in greenish color...

you and me both... when i get the next shippment of covers in, ill post some pix of the circuit boards and bulbs.. but unbelievable, the amount of ease in making his lights yellow.. annnnnnd... its all factory lol... just slide the blue ones back on.. of course, not the light output of LED's, but definetly better then stock...

i was saying the same thing... because i went through my debacle for my interior LED's.. then i researched on the 355nation site.. and i was like "No Way its that easy".. sure enough.. let there be yellow light HVAC's, and headlight switch to follow in the next month or so... going to order more covers after the holidays..
