Deer Season in WA, who got one?

Anyone bag a deer the opening weekend?

Nothing for me, the only Black Tail I saw this weekend was lying along on the SouthBound I-5 shoulder, just before Suburban Propane in Marysville.

Deer strike? Or some poor hunter who lost a roof top load on the way home? That would suck!

No, and not for lack of trying either- went out for the entire week, left for camp on the 12th and didn't come home until the 19th. Put SO many miles on the boots, too LOL. Thursday night I had a nice little branched 2 point in my scope broadside at less than 100 yards, but no matter how long I stared he never grew an eye guard. I think I'm going to go out for late buck this year, can't let this transport tag go to waste!!


Did bag a nice Rio Grand Turkey on opening day of fall season, though...
