Code reader Problems

So I recently took my truck to Auto Zone to have a check engine light checked out. Only to find that the computer wouldn't not connect to my truck due to the computer having no power Has anyone ever encountered this or know any fixes?

If your truck drives and/or operates more or less as advertised but the scanner wouldn't connect, check fuse 13 under the hood.

Agreed. It's shared with an accessory outlet fuse, labeled by the unhelpful designers as the CIGAR fuse.

Yea do what C-Ya said my odb2 port wasn't working either cause a buddy blew the fuse on the CIG plug.
