Anybody have any idea what would cause this and how i can fix it?

All the gauges on the right are royally screwed up except the fuel gauge, which according to torque, is still accurate.

hmmm is it brand new ?

I would say stepper motors, but they ARE moving so I am not sure, I would also have to say the needles might have been taken off and put back on wrong???

Nope, I've had it since the beginning of march. I have not taken the cluster off at all.

The steppers are 100% at fault here. If you can solder, they're easy to change in an hour, and a set of six is $25-40 on Ebay. If you can't there's any number of vendors to change them all for $100-125. If one fails, the rest in your cluster are from the same batch, and are highly suspect. There's an article here somewhere.

I guarantee that steppers can fail in a way there they move a bit, but won't go counterclockwise all the way to zero. And they can be temperature sensitive, and work some days and not others.

Did they all go at the same time?
That'd be odd I think.
If they all went at once, y'all still think it's the steppers?

Maybe electrical?, My gauges went all whacky just like that!!

When I first got my cheapish scantool ELM327 usb hooked up to my laptop I was checking a code with the key on not running the dash was fine. But when I started my tb with the code reader still plugged in to see live data. My gauges went just like that but I also had a message in the odometer area that said unauthorized driver :confused: I turned everything off unplugged my scantool and restarted everything went back to normal.

I would not rule out a bad ground, loose conection, or if there is any new wiring or any old aftermarket wiring that could be shorted.
