After doing much research and noticing the similarity of the mounting of the radio in my (now gone) 2008 Montana SV6, I have found that kits that fit these vans (Uplander, SV6) would work with the Saab 9-7x. I found this one on Amazon.ca and plan on ordering it.

If anyone with a 9-7x is looking to install an aftermarket HU, get this kit! Very simple and works great.
