Well as the title says I am in the process of building a MAME arcade machine. It is going to be a low profile(vewlix clone) with a 32" tv for the monitor. Painting it with a silver metallic paint and wrapping the control panel and some other accent pieces with 3M Di-NOC carbon fiber film.

I'm in need of a Name for it so I can start designing some artwork for it. I'm horrible with creative names and need your minds to come up with one. Only name I have in mind is "A Fist Full of Quarters" haha

Keep us upto date on the progress and build. One day I would like to make a full size cabinet too.

suppose it depends on what games your going to have on it.
with arcade games i think of, astroids, cenipede, frogger etc. all the old atari, nintendo games.
if thats the case, "retro" "classic" come to mind. if your going to market it.
if just for personal enjoyment, "FEED ME" or with the clint theme "DO YOU FEEL LUCKY PUNK" come to mind
just some thoughts.

Wish I were closer, I could check it out when you're done

Good luck with the buid. I was thinking of a MAME machine for the basement gameroom, but have not gotten there yet. NOt really sure why, would love it to just boot direct to Pac Man or Galaga.

Maybe some day. Right now I am on a pinball kick again

The reason it's not done yet is work and always have to leave some free time for partying. 2 full time jobs, finished school, and now a business owner.

Thanks! I'll see what I can do about the light. Only have 4 can lights in the whole room so i'll see what I can use to get more.

In the mean time, my artwork showed up and I just taped up the marquee and laid the CP piece to see what it looks like. Off to Lowe's now to get some metallic paint for the cabinet.:wootwoot:
