After gassing up last month, my fuel door decided not snap closed properly anymore. It closes somewhat but now it sticks out. How can i fix this as it's hard to see what the problem is. How do i access the hinge for the fuel door? Is it via the wheel well or through the inside panels in the back? Has anyone experienced this unusual issue.

I know this is old but now I have this problem guys .

Can anyone help me please .

Thanks / Foglight Frank

alldata is being surprisingly unhelpful today. I'll pull the manuals and see if I can find the relevant information.

Thank you , I called a couple body shops and they were $200 puls tax to repair.
I was thinking about buying a aftermarket type of some kind for $100 and doing
it ourselvs.

Open the fuel door and you will see three small bolts 7mm to 9mm, lose this three bolts and the fuel door will come off complete

Hope this help you.

Got it off and am weighing options now , I'll let you guys know what I did.
When you take it off you know it was not made to last right off the bat.

Okay "End of story."
I bought a unpainted OEM one and got a guy to spray it black and clear coat it .
It looks pretty good and is a perfect match all for $75.00 vs taking it in and paying
$210.00 plus tax.

Thanks to my other friends here for any input you had.
