Has anyone tried or has gotten the red lens apart from the brake light housing? I can be either Envoy or TB. I'm thinking of a new project and it will require separating the brake light housing.

I have heard of it being done on headlights but not tail lights. I would imagine that the process would be similar though.
A buddy of mine is looking to do the same thing for an LED mod. Looking at my stock pair, it looks like there's a small screw at the top and bottom of the housing on the backside, maybe holding the lens on. 
At the bottom, I can see what looks to be a bit of seepage from the sealant when the 2 pieces were pressed together. Anyone who's had any success with separating the headlights via heat, should probably be able to do this. I've always had to cut my lights open, heat methods don't work so well for me. :sad:
