well i saw the wrrite up from Carlton..and its all straight forward.. so no questions on that...

my question is, has anyone tried searching for them on Ebay? Am i missing something?, the cheapest one i could find was $79 dollars... a little too rich for my blood.. would like to see this under $60... did i just not look hard enough? for those that bought it at said price per the write up, do you have the link to the store you bought it from?
 
I believe, since the sellers on Ebay know there is a new market, they've raised prices.

no prob... got bored last night and just did a bit of checking...since i was kinda interested int his mod at some point as well.. but if all the other places are jacken up prices..these places might soon as well.
 
I got mine from Ebay seller dotcomracing, they always run out of stock, because they keep their prices lower than the others. Mine was $60 after shipping. :twocents:
 
picked mine up from dotcomracing thru ebay last april.
49.95 plus shipping. (14.00)
mine was item # 200593351864, 07 08 09 chevy avalanche 3rd led brake light, chrome, new
and it fit perfectly on my 09 TB

thanks for the sellers name guys... gonna be on the look out for it here in the next few weeks... these are some inexpensive mods i would like to accomplish while she's parked for the winter...

Last spring/summer, I also bought one from dotcomracing on Ebay for my Wife's TB. :thumbsup:

This morning, I just ordered one for my Envoy from LateModelPerformance. LINK HERE. $57 for gun smoke colour! :wootwoot:
The part# of the one I got is; LT-AVA07RBGLED-CY. You can just google the part # until you find the lowest price.
 
Hopefully it's as dark as it looks in the pic, that would be sweet. Mine was nowhere near the pic (it was categorized as 'black' :hopeless:) so I had to crack it open and paint it myself. :biggrin: :cool:

edit... ok.. just ordered the 3rd brake light... looks like the link that 06Envoy was the cheapest annnnnd theyre offering free shipping now... so i paid $57 total... SCORE lol...

Those were always way overpriced since day 1 when I was looking for mine. :hopeless:
 
I'm 95% sure that's the same one I got. The amount of 'smoke' in the lens was very light. Seemed more chrome than anything else. Nothing a lil modding couldn't fix though. :cool:
 
yea, if its not as smoked as the picture dictated, then im not too pressed about that... my tails, refelctors, and 3rd brake light is VHT'd right now anyway... so if worse comes to worse.. ill just smoke the new one too :yes:
