Any Guess as to what this is?

I replaced the Mode Actuator on a 2004 Trailblazer when the air stopped flowing out of the center dash vents. Everything seemed to work after that. A week later the driver side temp actuator failed and I changed that. But now I do not have air going to the floor on either side.

When I was looking to see if I did not get a duct correct, I noticed this sensor hanging. Does anyone know what it could be and where it should go? Could it be a reason why air is not going to the floor?

I can't see the wire colors too good, but if there's a brown and a white/black stripe and you have the auto HVAC then its the "air temperature sensor - lower left". The manual shows that the mounting hole is a few inches under the actuators almost right in between them.

Thanks. You are correct a brown wire and a black/white wire. I will try to find the hole tonight, thanks.
