I have a 2002 Trailblazer. Replaced the original fan clutch after it started roaring like crazy. The second roared right from the beginning. Thinking the second one might be bad, I replaced it with another new clutch fan It is still roaring and throwing the following codes: P1482 (Cooling Fan Speed Output circuit) & P0495 (Fan High Speed).

I cannot get the emissions done until this quits throwing codes.

What the hell do I have to do to make it as quiet as it was originally?

This is driving me nuts!!!!!!!!

Thanks in advance.

Assuming you gave fluids in the new clutch's valves enough time to stabilize from laying around in cold. Having 3 different clutches bad could be electrical.. If you pull fan fuse 20 and or fan relay 45 (actually solid state relay) and start it up does it still engage (roar). If so leave the 5 wire connector to the fan unplugged, start the engine does it still engage (roar). If so it's mechanical clutch defective !!! again ??

I would check the harness up to the fan.
